What is Massage Cupping?
Massage cupping is another form of myofascial release. It helps realign collagen fibers that have adhered to each other: resulting in deeper muscular releases and an increase in range of motion.
Massage cupping helps stimulate oxygenation and detoxification of the blood. This helps promote a feeling of spaciousness and relief from the pressure felt in the tissue.
Massage cupping encourages the detoxification of metabolic debris in muscle tissues, fascia, and skin. It can help increase lymphatic drainage and circulation, improve range of motion, break up adhesions, promotes healing in scar tissue, and can even help reduce the appearance of cellulite. The cups flood the tissue with fresh blood and draw out stagnant blood from the area. The body then develops new blood vessels that help feeds the tissues with nutrients and oxygen.
Massage cupping is optional but included in 90-minute and 120-minute massages.
